Catalina Housing was born from my belief that stable, affordable housing is essential to a thriving life. I grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, where disinvestment and housing instability shaped my community—and the lives of my classmates.
That early experience taught me that housing is about more than shelter—it’s about dignity, opportunity, and stability. Years later, after working across the affordable housing system, I came to believe that long-term, community-rooted ownership is key to helping residents and neighborhoods thrive.
Catalina Housing was created with that goal: to invest for the long term, preserve affordability, and support communities—because when housing is stable, everything else has a chance to grow.
